How this site handles your information

|---|---|---|---|
| Send a contact message | Name, email address, organisation if given, the subject and your message, the time it was sent | Legitimate interests: answering your enquiry and, where it leads to work, preparing for a contract | 24 months after our last exchange, or the life of any resulting engagement |
| Write a review | Name, email address, role and organisation if given, your rating, your review, your consent to publication | Consent for publication (which you can withdraw); legitimate interests for confirming the review is yours | While the review is published, plus 12 months; the email address only until the review is confirmed |
| Register an expression of interest | Name, email address, organisation and link if given, areas of interest, availability, your message, and a CV if you attach one | Legitimate interests: keeping a register of prospective contributors to the ExPriori project and contacting you about it | 12 months, then deleted, unless you ask sooner or a contribution begins |
In every case we also record the network address the submission came from and keep it for 30 days, solely to detect and block abuse of the forms.
Where it is held
Submissions are stored on systems operated by Firebed Ltd in the United Kingdom, on encrypted storage, accessible only to the people who need to act on them. Nothing is passed to a third party, sold, or used for marketing. We do not transfer your data outside the United Kingdom.
Your rights
Under the UK GDPR you can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to our processing of it, or withdraw consent to publication of a review. Email hello@firebed.com; we respond within one month. If you are unhappy with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Security
The forms are served over HTTPS, submissions are limited in size and rate, and uploaded CVs are accepted only in PDF or Word format, stored outside the web root, and never executed or served back. Firebed's own security posture is described on the about page.
